About the Monaro Club of Victoria |
| The Monaro Club of Victoria was
established in 1973. Today with over 300 members the club is flourishing
with the sights and sounds of every type of Monaro built from the very first
1968 HK models through to the latest 2005 CV8Z coupes. The club was established to
provide enthusiasts with a focal point for their interest in Australia's best known
performance car. Club members possess a wealth of knowledge about individual models
and are always keen to help new owners and first time restorers. The network of contacts within the club can help
members find that specialist repairers or locate hard to get parts. The club prides
itself on its family atmosphere. The majority of activities and events available to
members are family oriented, allowing all family members the opportunity to enjoy a club
run or activity. The club meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 8:00pm at the Chevrolet Car Club Rooms, at factory 1 number 3 Edgecombe Court in Moorabbin. Melway reference 78 B7. Prospective
members are welcome to attend club meetings and talk to members before they decide to
join. You don't need to own a Monaro to
become a member of the club but we are sure it won't be long before you are regularly
behind the wheel of that special car. For more
information on joining the club, call the Monaro Hotline on
0448 MONARO or simply fill
out the membership form and return it to the club.
